On 10th May 2026, Grow Together turned Kalinga Nagar Phase II into a mini cricket festival!
The Cricket Tournament brought together energetic youngsters from the community for a day packed with thrilling matches, loud cheers, team spirit, and unforgettable moments of sportsmanship.
From powerful sixes to friendly banter on the field, the event celebrated unity, passion, and the joy of playing together.
The Purpose
The primary objective of this tournament was to promote physical activity and collaborative play among the younger demographic.
The event provided a structured environment where participants could acquire core competencies such as cooperation, leadership, and personal accountability.Central to the mission was an emphasis on early-stage health consciousness, advocating for both physical and mental well-being.
By incentivizing active lifestyles, the initiative aims to build a foundation for a robust, cohesive community led by a healthier, more capable youth.
Four competitive teams battled passionately on the field, displaying outstanding teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament. Every match brought excitement and enthusiasm, making the event truly memorable for players and spectators alike.
After a series of thrilling performances, the champions were honored with a prestigious trophy and a cash prize of ₹5,000, while the runners-up proudly received ₹3,000. More than the rewards, the tournament celebrated the spirit, unity, and energy of every participant involved.
